Ida Faldbakken — founder, humanist (MPhil) by training, one foot in intelligence infrastructure and one foot in the humanities, heart in the creative act. Currently co-authoring the book Skapt sammen — an exploration and handbook on the creative process in AI and human co-creation. With emphasis on the process.

I'm interested in how we learn, make meaning, and decide what counts as knowledge — and what shifts in those processes when AI enters the room.

I founded Lineage Foresight, an intelligence company building infrastructure that makes creative and cultural value visible, legible, and investable — without reducing it to metrics that miss the point.

Here at Human Before The Loop, I write about what changes in the human when AI enters the room. The questions that come with that — about literacy, about agency, about what creative practice becomes when humans and AI are in continuous interplay — are what the pieces here work through.

The through-line of my work is who the human is before the loop: the trained, situated, embodied person whose judgement, taste, and method shape what enters the encounter in the first place.

What interests me most: not what AI can do, but who humans become alongside it. I'm building a set of agents named after the cardinal directions (Western, Eastern, Southern, Northern) as part of that exploration.
